Mothering is work. First you recognize it yourself. Then you show it to the world.
Changing the language you use with yourself is the first step. Making it visible in your CV and LinkedIn is the second. mowom gives you the resources and support so your experience as a mother takes the place it deserves.

MOWOM IS FOR YOU IF…

You paused your career to focus on childcare and want to return confidently, without apologies.

You want to gain confidence before facing job selection processes.

You feel your CV has a gap that's hard to explain and you don't know how to tell that story.

You already work for pay, as an employee or self-employed, but want to make your motherhood visible as what it is: a professional asset.
THE MOWOM JOURNEY
1
Recognize yourself
The first step is yours and yours alone.
Before anyone else recognizes it, you have to recognize it yourself: mothering is work. Changing the language you use with yourself is the foundation of everything else. Stop saying "I don't work." Stop apologizing. Understand that these years haven't been a pause—they've been a stage of work, of contribution to society, and of growth.
Because you can't ask society to value what you haven't yet recognized in yourself.
2
Make it visible
Put it where it belongs: in your CV and on LinkedIn.
Adding "Mother at mowom" to your profile is a professional act and a political act. You don't need a gap in your CV to do it. You don't need to be looking for a job. All mothers are welcome: those returning to work, those already working, those who still don't know what they want to do.
And if you take this step without needing it for your career, you're doing something bigger: every mother who makes it visible makes it easier for the next one to dare.
We know it's not always easy. That the fear of how you'll be seen can feel stronger than the desire. That's why you're not alone in this step.
